Linearis Digital Video Recorder

Linearis LE

The Linearis LE is the compact version of the Linearis DVR series. It comes in two models, the 6 and 12 analogue camera versions and includes an internal 120GB internal hard drive. Incorporating an embedded Operating System this DVR delivers exceptional performance together with Mpeg4 video compression for increased storage. Its proprietary transmission protocol reduces data rates and thus provides smoother video transmissions across internal/external networks. The Linearis LE is capable of recording 100/200 images per second (CIF), respectively across the two models, and each camera can be individually configured. There are various recording options such as continuous or motion detection. There is a single bi-directional audio channel, 8 alarm input channels and 8 auxiliary output channels in order to control devices such as sirens and security lights etc. It can be networked for local or remote Internet access and it incorporates an internal web server so that remote access can be achieved using an Internet Explorer web browser.

There are also three dedicated remote access programmes which are:

Remote Control – This replicates the user screen as seen directly from the DVR and you can perform all required functions such as, Live view, Playback, Search and copying of CCTV footage.

Site Manager – This is the professional monitoring software for the Linearis series and in addition to the above functions can also be set up to receive alarms from the DVR (once received the relevant camera picture can be highlighted on screen and an alarm sounded on the PC to alert the operator). Maps can be inserted into the software detailing camera positions. Icons on these maps are active, i.e. a camera icon placed onto the map not only details the position of that camera but double clicking on it will display the live footage from it.

Vision Pocket – This is a Windows Mobile based application for basic viewing and playback.
