Avalon E

Avalon E

The Avalon E is an 8 or 16 camera Digital Video Recorder (DVR). It has its own internal hard drive to record CCTV footage directly from all cameras. Individual camera set up is possible, allowing for different parameters to be set for each camera, i.e. how many images per second to record and timeframes to record/not record. It can be networked allowing remote access to live and recorded footage from a Windows computer either on site or from a remote location via the Internet, dedicated software is required.

Copying of recorded footage is possible and the Avalon E allows you to copy footage to a CD, a USB stick or directly to your computer if using the remote software. Alarm inputs allow CCTV footage to be marked for Event Searching and email alerts can be sent out. Email notifications can be set up for Alarm events such as Sensor alarm activation, Video loss, Motion activation and Hard drive problems. Recording can be continuous or setup for motion only (the motion option only records footage to the hard drive when there is motion in front of the camera, static cameras only, this options saves valuable hard drive space for areas where very little motion occurs, i.e. a static camera looking at a store cupboard).
