March Networks Video Sphere Decode Station

The VideoSphere® DecodeStation VX is a software-based virtual matrix that delivers video transmission, control, monitoring and management for any video surveillance environment. It is simple to use and cost-effective, the DecodeStation VX provides visibility across video surveillance infrastructure and increases operational efficiency.

The software handles all types of standard video codec(s) such as H 264, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG simultaneously on a single virtual matrix view It is fully compatible with March Networks Command software, which provides the video display control and distribution of video, maps, views, and other resources.

The DecodeStation VX extends the capabilities of the March Networks IP video portfolio by introducing a software-only solution that can scale to support the decoding and display of potentially hundreds of video streams at a range of resolutions from CIF up to full, high-definition 1080p. The software can be deployed throughout the network infrastructure to push video streams to any video wall or remote monitoring display for advanced video management. In addition, remote configurations can be controlled on the DecodeStation VX through central administration, which makes it easier and faster to manage multiple remote operators and video wall environments.
