Field Sales Positions

AlertSystems is a leading supplier of integrated electronic security systems, with an enviable blue-chip client base and a reputation for being an outstanding security service provider. Due to business expansion we are seeking Area Managers to join our sales team.
A customer facing role to identify client objectives, propose appropriate solutions, win new business and develop productive relationships. You will have the initiative, tenacity and drive to take the commercial lead in targeting a wide range of new businesses and existing customers. You will be comfortable with a consultative sales approach and be effective at working at all levels across an organisation.
Presenting the company’s portfolio of leading high-value security solutions, your responsibilities will include detailed system designs and proposals to meet customer operational requirements. Working within your specified territory, you will need the ability to manage concurrent projects and ensure excellent service delivery against SMART targets.
You will be a self-motivated commercially aware negotiator with good IT, written and interpersonal communication skills. Continual product information, training and comprehensive support will be provided in order to ensure you achieve business objectives.
To succeed in this role you will professionally demonstrate the company’s security solutions, develop sales value propositions, with a clearly defined return on investment, while achieving and maintaining monthly sales performance targets. Proven experience of new business development, ideally gained within the fire/security industry is advantageous, however candidates with successful field sales experience will also be considered.
