How The External Deterrent System works
The Alert External Deterrent System is ideal for Yards, Compounds and Car Parks, almost all external areas. The system that detects and deters before they try to break in. How it works:
1. Initial Warning
Carefully positioned, external detection sensors will be activated by the movement of intruders. At the first activation tungsten halogen floodlights will instantly illuminate the scene. Most unwelcome visitors are immediately deterred.
2. The Verbal Warning
Intruders who remain within the protected areas of your site will trigger the "on-site" Verbal Warning, reinforcing the impression that they’re under observation. The deterrent becomes even stronger with the floodlights repeatedly flashing on and off.
3. Full Alert
The intelligent control panel and on-site sensors are continually analysing the intruder activity. Those ignoring the Verbal Warning and Tungsten Halogen Floodlights will bring the system to “Full Alarm” status with Sirens and Strobe. Prolonged activity once the system has reached Full Alarm Status will send an Alarm signal through to the Alarm Receiving Centre. Once the premises are secure and free from unwelcome visitors, the whole system automatically re-sets itself without the need for keyholders to attend.
4. Remote Monitoring
Keyholders can be contacted when your system is in “Full Alarm”, via telephone, mobile phone, text message alert or email.
