How the AlertSystems External Dome Deterrent System works
1. Initial Warning
External detection sensors will be activated by the movement of intruders. At the first activation tungsten halogen floodlights will instantly illuminate the scene, (if fitted to the system). At the same moment the Rapid Dome or CCTV camera will now be displaying a view of the activated area of your site. If the intruders move around your site to a different detection sensor the Rapid Dome Camera will instantly track this movement and display the new view.
2. The Verbal Warning And Alarm
Intruders who remain within the protected areas of your site will trigger the "on-site" Verbal Warning. Further intruder movement around the premises will then activate the loud external sirens. The system is now in Full Alarm Status. Prolonged activity once the system has reached Full Alarm Status will send an Alarm signal through to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
3. CCTV - Remote Monitoring
Alert Verification Monitoring:
Alarm Signals are regarded by the operators at the Remote Video Response Centre (RVRC) as "highest priority" and are immediately dealt with. Operators will dial into your premises via the Video Transmission System and be able to view both "live" and recorded images of events. Once the images have been interrogated by the operator the appropriate action is taken by contacting Key holders, Guarding Company or the Police, whatever response has been agreed depending on system type.

OR
Activated Monitoring:
Immediately upon activation of the external detection sensors the Video Transmission Systems engage the telephone line and transmit the images of the activation through to the Remote Video Response Centre. As with Alert Verification the images are interrogated by the operator and the appropriate response plan actioned. The alarm signal from the External Deterrent System will separately be sent through to the ARC if the system reaches full Alarm Status.

4. Remote Monitoring (At Home)
Alternatively to, or as well as the images being viewed at the Remote Video Response Centre, you might wish to see for yourself what has caused the activation at your premises. You can be contacted via phone, text message or email about an Alarm activation and then access the pictures from your premises through your PC or Laptop.
