Intruder Alarm Monitoring

Alarm devices will detect the activity of intruders. In the event of an alarm device being activated a number of events take place:-

Non - Policed Systems

A full alarm condition is generated, either immediately or after a specified delay, with the siren creating 110 decibels of sound and the strobe light flashing.

An alarm signal is sent via the signalling device to the Remote Monitoring Central Station.

Upon receipt of the alarm signal the operator at the Alarm Receiving Centre will follow an agreed response plan and contact Keyholders accordingly.

Policed Systems and "Confirmed" Systems

A full alarm condition is generated, either immediately or after a specified delay, with the siren creating 110 decibels of sound and the strobe light flashing.

An alarm signal is sent via the signalling device to the Alarm Receiving Centre.

Upon receipt of the alarm signal the ARC operator will follow an agreed response plan and contact Keyholders accordingly.

When a second device is activated within 20 minutes of the first, the incident becomes "Confirmed" and a second signal is transmitted to the Alarm Receiving Centre via a separate signal pathway.

Upon receipt of the second alarm signal the ARC operator will upgrade the status of the alarm to "Confirmed" and proceeds to adjust the response plan accordingly. The police can be contacted at this point.
