| Site Manager DS (Decode Station) is a network monitor, able to decode and visualize up to 48 video streams in real time (up to 64 with lower frame rate) arriving from various servers on an analogic or digital monitor. Site Manager DS can be used both as a powerful decoding device or as a client with a very easy-to-use local interface. |
| DECODER MODE In ‘decoder’ mode, Site Manager DS can organize views of different devices (DVMS or NETTUNO network cameras) and handle multiple video streams. Site Manager DS Allows for live visualization, either single or multiple single play back visualization for video signals arriving from any CIEFFE device, multiple play back of video signals arriving from one or more SPECTIVA DVMS. |
| Site Manager DS allows the user the request encoders of different quality (high, medium or low) from the servers, according to the visualization requirements (number of video streams to visualize) and to the available bandwidth, or to set the program to automatically adjust (auto) its requests based on conditions and visualization requirements. |
| Control rooms can be created, modified and managed without having to resort to a control client or to an operators constant intervention. Once set and configured with Site Manager, each Decode Stations works independently from the others and with no need for connection to the configuration client. The system architecture becomes very strong (malfunction or damage to a DS do not compromise the overall function of the system) and independent the control client can be switched off or used for other purposes.) If power supply problems arise or network disconnections occur, Site Manager DS can re-start and re-connect automatically, maintaining the configured settings. |
| With Site Manager DS, the system architecture’s flexibility becomes a central feature: monitors and new hardware can be added with targeted interventions and the system can be configured according to specific video surveillance requirements. |
| OPERATOR MODE In Site Manager DS’s ‘Operator’ mode, the security system administrator can group a certain number of resources through Site Manager and send each security guard the exact resources they need to accomplish their task. By using Site Manager DS’s local interface, the guards don’t need to study and learn any complex computer software. Site Managers DS’s interface is expressly designed to ease the video surveillance tasks of inexperienced or not field’s expert operators. With no need for complex authorization setups, the system administrator can determine the proper number and kind of resources that security guards can mange. Guards will only visualize and handle cameras, alarms, auxes, views, panoramas and site maps allowed by the system admin, using an application not more complex than a normal present a day TV. |
