Excellent Vision and First Class Colour From Bosch

Bosch has introduced the all new Dinion HD 1080p day/night IP camera as the latest addition to its HD surveillance solutions portfolio.  They are promising excellent low light operation and first class colour reproduction.

In their press releases Bosch are making some impressive claims for the Dinon HD 1080p day/night camera. They believe this camera will achieve best-in-class performance and will combine full HD resolution images with excellent low light operation and colour reproduction.

The Dinion HD 1080p day/night IP camera is also said to deliver what Bosch term “uncompromising vision” even in busy, colourful scenes. The 1080p is equivalent to 2 megapixels, conforming to the HD standard.

The entire advanced image pipeline, from lens to image processing, ensures images stay sharp throughout the scene. This allows reliable identification of faces, objects and alphanumeric information over a wide area.

Operators can zoom in to any part of a scene in order to examine specific details without losing clarity.

A specially selected image sensor enables superior detection and analysis. Images are “exceptionally clear”, making it easier to identify items, while different colour tones can be distinguished even in poor lighting.

Spotting alarm situations is easy and very dependable. Built-in Bosch HD-optimised IVA (Intelligent Video Analysis) flags any events on-screen so that operators never miss suspicious activities.

IVA captures comprehensive details of scenes which can be stored for later review using the Bosch Forensic Search solution.

The Dinion HD 1080p day/night IP camera features a new, next-generation camera design. Constructed with careful attention to detail, the camera has a professional look and feel and features an extended operating temperature range, making it ideal for applications in hot or cold climates.

As with many modern systems installation and setup is very simple. The camera starts up quickly and has a user-friendly control interface.

The camera features a motorised auto-back focus makes it easy to get the sharpest image the first time. Power over Ethernet means no additional power supplies are needed while the cameras are also extremely energy efficient, consuming just 3.5 W.

Specialist biometric security company ievo™ is making the news.

Firstly, the company has announced that they have been nominated for the Security Excellence Awards. The ceremony is to take place in London on 19th of October with hundreds of the most prestigious and innovative security products on the market today competing at the event.

The award for which Ievo has been nominated for is Security Innovation of the Year. Understandably ievo™ are extremely honoured to be considered for this award.

Unlike standard fingerprint readers, ievo™ multi-spectral readers are unaffected by variations in fingerprint quality due to dirt or grease; and they work in even the harshest conditions, for example in freezing temperatures, rain and direct sunlight.
