Biometrics Added to Impro Access Control Systems

For a technology driven company, the integration of the most advanced or a cutting edge technology into an existing product with the purpose of increasing said products’ efficiency in order to accommodate the ever changing needs and requirements of clients and prospective clients, the integration of new technology would help increase the interest of clients and prospective clients and of course not to mention the fact that the integration of such new technology would help increase the capabilities of the product itself.

Technology is very important in the field of security and alert systems because of the main fact that the security and alert systems industry is also technology driven, that is, in order to make the products to be competitive in the market there is a need to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of a certain security and alert system through the incorporation of new technologies. This is business principle in the field of security and alert systems is exhibited by BPT security Systems when they launched their new biometric readers that is designed to be compatible or used with the Impro Access Control system. Dubbed as the B-sho readers, these biometric readers were designed to be a cost-effective solution to installation and capital cost problems. The B-Sho was specifically designed to combine or be readily integrated with the existing Impro Access control systems, this means therefore that existing users of the Impro Access control system need not to change or purchase any other products so as just to integrate a biometrics capability of the access control system. As proof of its compatibility with the Impro Access Control Systems the B-sho biometrics does not require a separate database as it could use the existing access control database which helps client avoid the tedious process of constructing another database. Apart from these features other security features were also integrated like an offline functionality and the capability of manipulating or changing the False Radio Acceptance Ratio settings. With all these features the from the B-sho biometrics makes the Impro access control system to be a more powerful technology integrated product in the field of security systems particularly in the access control devices group.

Onvif Compliant Encoder from Samsung

Expansion is one of the most welcoming change for every company, this is because of the fact that expansion depicts the improvement of a company in terms of its revenue an indirect way of saying that the sales and revenue increased that is why the company can afford to expand. There are different types of expansion depending on the needs of the company one may expand their production line in order to increase their production output, an expansion of different offices may also be possible or even an expansion of the company security system. The latter of course is always being done depending on the needs of  the company in terms of security. On the expansion of offices or production line the process could be easy that is to just fund the purchase of additional machine for the production line or fund the construction of an office building, however for the expansion of a security system particularly that of a CCTV camera system the expansion must be developed around the existing security system in order to be a lot more cost efficient and so as not to disrupt normal operations of the security system. Adding CCTV cameras would prove to be a daunting task because of the fact that encoders for CCTV cameras has a limit on the number of CCTV cameras that it can accommodate, aside from the fact that older or other brands of CCTV cameras may not be compatible with the existing security system.

To solve this problem Samsung has developed an ONVIF compliant encoder, dubbed as the SPE-100. The main feature of this encoder is that it is ONVIF compliant which means that this encoder from Samsung is compatible to most CCTV cameras. The Samsung SPE-100 is equipped with a multi-streaming feature and is integrated with H.264, MPEG-4 or MJPEG compression which are all designed to minimise storage and bandwidth use when recording and transmitting data. The SPE-100 has a video loop through feature which enables the captured images to be shared with different devices, with all these features and compatibility of the SPE-100 the encoder is indeed a solution to CCTV camera system expansion.
