Embedded NVR Launched by HIKVISION

For a system to function properly it is imperative that its components are also at an optimum condition. For security and alert systems this principle is very much applicable because of the fact that many devices being produced by the different security and alert systems companies can either be stand-alone however most of the time it is a part of a bigger system. Take for example a CCTV camera, this could of course function alone but it is more likely that such CCTV camera is going to be part of a bigger system either as part of a CCTV camera system, an Access control system or an intruder alarm system. One thing that should always be taken into consideration when developing the system is the capability or the capacity of the component. It is imperative that every component of the system should always be in-sync with the other components and as much as possible such components should always be integrated with high capability and capacity.

HIKVISION has realised the importance of developing security and alert system components and this is the reason why they have developed and launched the new embedded NVR or Network Video Recorder Surveillance dubbed as the DS-9616NI-SH. Considered as a new breed of NVR which is developed to accommodate high megapixel recording and mass storage apart from its capability of high definition monitoring. The DS-9616NI-SH has an embedded H.264/MPEG4 video encoding and decoding technology. It has the ability to accommodate network CCTV cameras with a resolution or capacity of up to two megapixels in a full frame rate. Digital zoom and synchronous playback through 16 channels can be facilitated by HIKVISION’s network video recorder. It has eight SATA hard drives which are 2 Terrabytes  each and it has a pre-allocated hard disk management technology which can be used by the user or client to maximise data storage. With these features the HIKVISION NVR is definitely a good component for your CCTV camera system.

For every company that produces certain products one thing is notable with the products that they develop or produce and that is their product is good at giving convenience to their potential client, or the product is really something that the client could utilise. The ability of the product to become very useful for potential clients is one of the main motivator for a client to purchase said product. This is also applicable in the field of security and alert systems industry, many potential clients are investing in a CCTV camera system, an Access Control System or an intruder alarm system because of the fact that they have the need for it or their business requires it’s installation and it is because of this need that there is also what is called as fact that these devices or systems are what they can utilise. It is also important therefore in the development of the security and alert system device to have features that would be utilised by the user and not incorporate any features that may later on prove useless to the user or client.

Samsung realised the importance of incorporating essential features in the different security and alert systems products that they manufacture, therefore in their new product the SRD series of Digital Video Recorders Samsung has integrated a feature that can be utilised and would prove to be useful for the client or the user. The SRD series of H.264 Digital Video Recorders of Samsung are all equipped with the Pelco Coaxitron and Samsung SSVC coaxial control protocols. These two features are installed in the SRD series for the purpose of providing clients or users full control of the different functions of the CCTV cameras, among them is the access of the user to the different set-up menu through the Digital video recorders. This coaxial feature is in general used to give clients a cost-saving and convenient DVR and CCTV camera control.
