A CCTV camera system is made up of several essential components wherein if one malfunctions it will affect the entire system. This is also true when one of the components is sub-standard in quality which would not thus deliver the main purpose or goal why the CCTV camera system was installed in the first place. It is therefore imperative that every component in the CCTV camera system should be in-sync with each other, this means therefore that if a CCTV camera uses recent technology the other components must also be using advance technology to cope up with the abilities or features of the CCTV camera. In the field of CCTV camera system production or development the monitor is always the one which is less developed. This may be because of the fact that signals coming from CCTV cameras are still compatible with the resolution being displayed by the monitor whatever the reason may be one thing is clear that is there is a need for upgrading monitor facilities.
This problem is being recognised by iiyama vision and technology, this is the reason why as a show of their support for the CCTV camera system industry they have launched or released their first CCTV LCD monitor dubbed as the Prolite PLC1911S-B. The PLC1911S-B was designed to meet the increasingly demanding, in terms of visual or display of image or videos, requirements of the different CCTV camera systems industry. Among the different features that were incorporated in iiyama’s CCTV LCD monitor is its five milliseconds’ response time, a 1.3 megapixel resolution that would be for purposes of increased video and image quality for visual accuracy and brightness of up to three hundred cd/m2 and high of one thousand.
It is also equipped with a plug and play VESA DDC2B and a VESA wall mounting capability. The LCD monitor from iiyama was also developed in order to be compatible with both PC and Apple Mac operating systems and it has the ability to support NTSC, SECAM and PAL composite video making the LCD monitor compatible with different CCTV camera systems installations.
