In the field of security systems a company must always be kept abreast with the latest technology, and concurrent with such requirement is also the development or training of the people who will be using such technology. Trainings are important not only to keep security personnel up-to-date with the different types of security devices such as CCTV camera systems, Intruder Alarm systems or Access Control systems but also to refresh their memories in on how to use existing systems which would be beneficial in such a way that they will be able to integrate the old system with the new system.

Honeywell Building Solutions a company that provides security devices and training have recently announced that they have been certified in providing Continuing Professional Development security training or commonly known as the CPD. The training is about one-hour in duration and will tackle the main topic of security risk understanding. This course is very much applicable to security company employees involved in the specification and design of the security system who do not have an extensive knowledge on the security risk factors.

Understanding Security risk being the main topic would include the sub-topics on terrorism, organised crime and vandalism. The topic would further discuss the subject areas on responding and managing said risks through the use of different security solutions.

Honeywell was given this certification because of the fact that the security company has an extensive knowledge on the risk factors in the security field. Further, they have been regarded to be a company that has a vast awareness when it comes to the impact of security breaches. This is the reason why Honeywell is also one of the leaders in producing security devices and security solutions. The course would then allow Honeywell consultants to make organisations and individual aware of the different essential security issues.
